If you drove past KLGCC on Sunday morning last 16th August and saw a giant group of humans with 50+ dogs, no, it wasn’t a secret cult. It was just Petsmore’s Doggy Ice Cream Run.
People from all walks of life showed up to turn a chill Sunday into an absolute frenzy of Greek yogurt ice cream, sweat, and tail wags.
The morning started with a super fun mess. Armed with ice, Greek yogurt, and bananas, humans made doggy ice cream right inside plastic bags! It was a surprise arm workout, but making it yourself made it taste so much better.
Then came the “run” (if we can even call it that!).
The dogs hit the track. We had tiny Pomeranians walking like models, Greyhounds pulling their humans, and a few funny pups who decided to stop walking halfway through. Nobody cared about running fast—we just had a great time together in the sun.
